White walkers, men of the Night’s Watch, and dragon queens grace The Moors Castle
Props set up around the Festival premises included the redwood tree outside Winterfell, the Bolton house insignia, and even some white walkers.
Game of Thrones fans from all corners of the Seven Kingdoms flocked to The Moors Castle on Saturday, 30 March for the Game of Thrones Festival.
People came from far and wide for a chance to sit on the Iron Throne and mingle with fellow Game of Thrones fans. The Castle was transformed into a Game of Thrones haven with numerous props and scenes straight out of the TV series. Those who attended the festival dressed up as their favourite characters from the fictional TV and book series, with many turning up as Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen and Cersei Lannister, while one even came dressed as a medieval batman.
Overall, there was much fun on the day as Festival-goers enjoyed visiting Game of Thrones themed stalls while revelling in the thought that the eighth and final season of the show will start airing on 14 April.
