Pathways Roodepoort calling for assistance for upcoming golf day to keep the centre going
The golf day will provide much-needed income for the centre.
Pathways Roodepoort Centre for Disabled Children has a golf day coming up soon, and they need your help to make it a successful fundraiser.
Pathways Roodepoort was established in 2005 when founder Sunette Pretorius realised there was a severe shortage of facilities that provide care and stimulation for children with severe disabilities. Pathways primarily relies on fundraising, sponsorship and donations to sustain the centre, which is held together by a dedicated group of families, staff, volunteers, friends and supporters.
An ideal fundraiser the centre relies on is its charity golf day, which will be held at Ruimsig Country Club (RCC) at the end of May in the hope of raising much-needed funds to keep the centre running. At the moment, the centre is in dire need of financial assistance to keep up the good work that the staff do for the special-needs children in their care.
The golf day to be held at RCC on Thursday, 30 May will cost an individual player R1 500. It will cost R4 500 to enter a four-ball and includes a golf cart. Sponsoring a hole and entering a fourball will cost R7 500. All of the proceeds of the event will go towards keeping the centre’s doors open and continuing the amazing work they are going.
