Els for Autism to partner with LWOH for annual golf day
The organisation will be hoping to build on last year's success.
Following a successful 2018 golf day alongside a handful of rugby legends, Living Waters of Hope (LWOH) will be partnering with the Els for Autism Foundation for this year’s golf day.
LWOH, a non-profit organisation based in Florida Park, is an organisation that constantly needs whatever assistance it can get, as it provides hope and healing for the people of the West Rand. The 2018 edition of the organisation’s annual golf day was held at Ruimsig Country Club and saw three former Springbok and Rugby World Cup winners – Jaque Fourie, Japie Mulder, and Pieter Hendriks – grace the golf day to help raise funds for LWOH.
This year LWOH has once again gone big with its partners, and has managed to team up with legendary South African golfer Ernie Els’ organisation, Els for Autism. It has also partnered with Tshepang Electrical, which has helped by sponsoring some of the prizes for the day.
The golf day will take place this year on Tuesday, 30 April, again at Ruimsig Country Club and will start with a shotgun start at 11.30am in accordance with a fourball alliance format. This essentially means that two scores will count towards the team’s total. It will cost R4 000 per fourball (R1 000 per person), with the entrance fee including green fees, halfway house lunch, and dinner at the prize-giving on the night.
Prizes thus far include an Els for Autism goodie bag as well as miscellaneous items sponsored by the partners. If you would like more information regarding the event, or to acquire an entry form for the day, feel free to contact LWOH via debbie@trsa.co.za.
