Lace up for a 5km Freedom Run in Ruimsig tomorrow

The busy organising bodies behind the usual Ruimsig parkrun have decided to hold a special 5km Freedom Run on Human Rights Day, 21 March, tomorrow.

While the run will be organised by the usual parkrun organisers, it will not be an official parkrun as there will be no scanners, no timing, no volunteers, and no points. The aim is for it to just be a fun run for those who are passionate about running/ walking.

The runners will get together for the 7am start at the normal starting point and everyone will be allowed do the run at their own pace.
