The Welridge Academy Intermediate and Senior Phase learners recently showcased their entrepreneurial skills when they hosted their annual Market Day.
The learners spent days planning and preparing for the big day, all while gaining entrepreneurial skills.

Everything, from slushies, cupcakes, ‘slap’ chips and Russian sausages to hair spray, nail polish, gaming and shoes, was sold on 1 March.
“It was a fun and exciting day for all, especially the future businessmen and -women who made a smashing profit,” said Crystal Hydes, the administration officer, as she reflected on the event.
