I have been living in the same house for the past 54 years.
The roads department has now put up a four-way-stop right at the top of Currie Street. Now all the big trucks and peak hour traffic in the mornings and afternoons, as well as during the day, is driving us and our animals insane.
I stay in a very bad spot where the one-way starts at my driveway. It won’t be long before someone crashes through the fences around my property and that of my neighbour.
Some trucks even go down the one-way and that is going to cost someone’s life. Please can we try and get them to move the four-way-stop to Hinda Street, where it belongs originally?
