It’s better to leave this country

Pat Tutton from Roodepoort writes:

I was awakened by the sound of chanting and then police sirens and a helicopter early this morning. It must have been before 5am.

Thank you to the police who are protecting law-abiding citizens. There should be a zero tolerance policy towards perpetrators of illegal electrical connections.

Outside a friend’s house in the upmarket suburb of Beaulieu, Midrand, the body of a man who had been electrocuted while trying to make an illegal connection, was found. He had been thrown from the electrical pylon. As a result of this criminal act, a power surge damaged their gate motor. My friends will be leaving South Africa later this year.

I am now seriously considering leaving this country!
