A disobedient motorist was apprehended last night, Monday, 4 March, after allegedly failing to stop at a roadblock in the Weltevreden Park area.
According to BCI Security, which assisted the Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD) to pursue the car, their response officer managed to get himself into position to assist with stopping the vehicle approaching from Amarant Street, thanks to his excellent knowledge of the area.

Before the arrest, it was reported that the culprit attempted to ram the JMPD vehicle several times and subsequently crashed into a tree.
