Help Claw to feed the furkids

Any donations will be greatly appreciated

The Community Led Animal Welfare (Claw) shelter is in desperate need of the community’s help to feed the animals.

“Our food supply is drastically low. Please if you can donate any dog and/ or cat food, it will be greatly appreciated,” said Cora Bailey, humanitarian, animal activist and founder of Claw.

She added that, even though any brand would do, they suggest Bobtail, Monte and Me, Montego, Lionel’s Choice, Jock and Complete.

“If you cannot get to the shelter to drop the food off, you can also place an order on Takealot, and they will deliver it to Claw directly. If you have any food you want to donate and need to make specific arrangement, I can be contacted on 076 850 4466,” Cora said.

Besides food, Claw also needs old newspapers, which they use in the cages at the animal hospital.

She concluded by saying, “Claw provides desperately needed veterinary services to dogs and cats, as well as vital animal care education to pet owners in some of the poorest communities. But, without the community’s help, we will not be able to carry on.”
