JMPD cleans out illegal ads in Ward 97

According to a Facebook post by Ward 97 councillor, Leah Knott, the operation was held on Thursday, 7 February, and covered most of her ward.

The Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD) recently conducted a by-law enforcement operation which saw numerous illegal advertisements being removed from Ward 97.

She detailed all the successes on the day, which included the impounding of a food trailer on the corner of Paul Kruger and Taylor Roads, and the removal of numerous illegal advertising boards and banners at the corner of Paul Kruger and John Vorster Roads, and more along Florin and Peter Roads.
