Botanical Garden invites all to Valentine’s picnic

Love will soon fill the air in the Botanical Garden.

The annual Valentine’s Day picnic at the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden is making a return yet again this year, with gates opening for the picnic at 6pm on Valentine’s Day, 14 February.

Music from Chris de Burgh, Teddy Pendergrass, Barry White, The Bee Gees, Julio Iglesias, Celine Dion, and Marvin Gaye will be serenading those in attendance while you have a fun outing with your loved ones.

The Valentine’s Picnic can also be a family outing to enjoy the outdoors with loved ones on this special day. There will be prizes to be won, including a night out to one of the local guesthouses. You will need to bring your own picnic baskets and it will cost adults, pensioners and Botsoc members R50; students R50; scholars R25 and for children under six entrance is free.
