Multiple areas will be without electricity
City Power announced an emergency power shutdown for tonight, 8 February from 11pm to midnight.
The shutdown is due to emergency repairs at the Nursery substation and the following areas will be affected:
• Florida
• Floracliffe
• Discovery
• Selwyn
City Power apologises for any inconvenience caused to the affected customers and will continue to provide updates as and when new information becomes available.
Customers are urged to treat their electricity supply points as live at all times, as the power may be restored at any time, without warning.
