Metrobus is pleased to inform commuters that an agreement has been reached between it and the Democratic Municipal and Allied Workers Union of South Africa, and bus services will be in full operation shortly.
The strike has ended and buses will be operating from this afternoon.

This comes after commuters were left stranded from 28 January till today, as Metrobus was experiencing difficulties in ferrying the thousands of commuters from various parts of the City due to the strike.
