Charterhouse opens doors for new Grade 1s

The new little ones spent the day familiarising themselves with their new surroundings.

Along with all the public schools, Charterhouse Preparatory School opened its doors for its new Grade 1 boys and girls on Wednesday, 9 January.

This year, Charterhouse had to expand its Grade 1 capacity, with the school adding another class to the existing five, bringing the school’s total number of Grade 1 classes to six. The school has also dedicated an entire block of classrooms to the Grade 1s, along with a couple of the Grade 2 classes.

As per usual though, the little ones were sorted into their respective classes prior to arriving at the school, so mom and dad knew exactly where to take their precious ones. A couple of little angels naturally didn’t want to leave their parents’ side, but there were also a lot of brave faces who seemed ready to tackle the challenge that is the ‘big school’.
