“The robber took the victim’s cellphone as well as the patient’s cellphone and money. The victim went to the reception and discovered that there were two others who had already taken cellphones and an undisclosed amount of money from patients and practice employees. The robbers ordered the victim to join other victims in the toilet and closed the door,” she explained.
An unsuspecting security guard from Drift Reaction walked into the trap. “The security guard entered the surgery. As he was talking to the receptionist, one of the assailants came from behind and pointed a firearm at him while another disarmed him, taking his work firearm. He forced him inside the toilet as well,” Ntuli further explained.
It is unclear how many robbers were involved. However, she indicated that after the robbery the robbers fled the scene in a Hyundai Atos Prime with unknown registration.
