Roodepoort/ Krugersdorp SPCA receives welcome donation

Builders' collects pet food and animal products for SPCA

Members of the community supported an initiative from Builders’ Warehouse Strubens Valley, in aid of the Roodepoort/ Krugersdorp SPCA.

Nicole Manners, the fundraiser of the SPCA, said, “The store held an in-store collection for the SPCA, where shoppers were encouraged to donate pet food and animal products. The shoppers were very kind and gave generously to help the needy animals.”

She added that the received donations were dropped off at the SPCA’s premises, and were welcomed with open arms and grateful hearts.

“The festive season is our busiest time of the year, and we are always in need of goods for the animals. The large amount of food and other items for the animals that were received will definitely go a long way in helping the animals in the SPCA’s care, and we would just like to thank everyone who contributed so generously,” said Nicole.
