HWA entertains fans at Princess Crossing

Wrestlers ensured fans were not disappointed

The wrestling action in the square circle matched the sizzling hot weather, ensuring excited fans were not disappointed.

The wrestlers from Honour Wrestling Association (HWA) showed off their best wrestling moves during a recent show at Princess Crossing, delighting the fans that came out to support them.

The day started off with a bang, when Lodie The Midget came came out of retirement to face off against Gene the Rejected Clown. Gene made the mistake of thinking it would be an easy match, and almost lost the match when Lodie caught him in a roll-up for a two-count. Lodie was in control of the match until he went to the top rope, and was caught mid-air.

X-Terminator and Steve Eden.

Gene slammed him into the ring and walked away with a victory via pin-fall. But, all was not bad for Lodie, as he was offered a training contract with HWA, which was accepted to loud cheers from the crowd.

Next up was South African Champion, The Bandit, who had to defend his title against Hector Payne, who had a clear game plan from the first bell.

Hector dominated the match for the most part, outsmarting his opponent’s every move. But, just as it looked like Hector was going to be crowned as the new champion, he walked into a super-kick from The Bandit, which allowed The Bandit to retain his title via pin-fall.

Match 3 saw Clive Rude and Azazel climbing into the ring, ready to rumble. Clive Rude showcased his inhuman strength by throwing Azazel from one end of the ring to the other, forcing Azazel to come up with a counter-attack, or lose.

Azazel decided to target Clive Rude’s knee, resulting in his power being diminished and allowing Azazel to perform his 360° elbow drop, which saw him walking away as the victor via pin-fall.

The fans were also treated to a triple threat match between Two Face, Dirty Jackson and Mr Money.

Mr Money was outnumbered from the start of the match, as Two Face and Dirty Jackson teamed up, resulting in Hector Payne coming to the rescue of his wrestling partner.

This resulted in the match being stopped, and changed to a tag-team match between Hector Payne and Mr Money (We Faction) and the D.O.C (Two Face and Dirty Jackson).

The match was evenly balanced, until Two Face hit Hector Payne with a low blow behind the referee’s back, resulting in him taking the pin and victory, to loud jeers from the crowd.

The day was concluded with the main even, which saw Steve Eden stepping up to defend his World Title against the powerhouse, X-Terminator. The fans were on the edge of their seats, as both wrestlers showcased their strength and technical skills in the ring. Both wrestlers tried every move in the book, in an effort to assert dominance.
