The Roodepoort Police’s stop-and-search operations during the weekend of 7 to 9 December once again paid dividends.
During these operations, 34 suspects ranging in age from 16 to 48 years were arrested. They were arrested on the following charges: malicious injury to property, assault with the intent to do grievous bodily harm, possession of stolen goods, theft, shoplifting, possession of drugs, common assault, intimidation, fraud, drunken driving and reckless driving.
The suspects were detained at the Roodepoort Police Station.
