In the past three days thousands of litres of clean water have gone to waste in the Strubens Valley area following a burst pipe.

The water has been gushing out on Century Avenue in Strubens Valley near Hirsch’s, said a community member who claimed to have reported the matter to Johannesburg Water (JW).
JW spokesperson, Eleanor Mavimbela said the problem is being followed up.
