
On Saturday, 1 December, in commemoration of World Aids Day, the Thabo T. Madilola Foundation partnered with the Kagiso Adventurer Club and held an eight kilometer fun walk at the Kloofendal Nature reserve.
The aim of the event was to raise dignity packs for boys and girls living with disabilities. The dignity pack had a variety of items including, toothbrushes, toothpaste, face cloth, sanitary towels, body lotion, roll-on, deodorant and soap. Three disability schools benefited from this event. Two schools with in Johannesburg and one school in North West.The event started in the morning at about 7:30am with a fun walk that accommodated everyone, beginners and experienced walkers. After the walk people had their panic food to enjoy while socializing with each other.

ER24 was also giving free health screens for the public. People where able to do a blood test, high blood pressure, diabetes cholesterol and more. “For the longest time us, differently-abled people have been side lined by the society. This is why we give thanks to organisation who appreciate us and make us feel part of the society,” said disability activist, Kgomosto Mkhondo . “We give because we know how it is not to have,” said Founder of the Thabo T. Madilola Foundation, Thabo Madiloola.

“We work for a cause not for applause and we thank everyone who came to give their great support,” said Founder of the Kagiso Adventurer Club, Tebogo Kgonyane.
