JUST IN: Squatters moved behind Cradlestone Mall
Residents of an informal settlement behind Cradlestone Mall have been moved by the Red Ants today, Tuesday, 4 December.
It is reported that the Red Ants and Mogale City Local Municipality council decided to move the dwellers to a farm on Sunset Drive, close to Beyers Naude Drive in Muldersdrift.
The land behind the mall is believed to be owned by a bank and developments on it have been on hold due to the informal settlement.

The move to the new farm is said to have sparked uproar as it shocked many neighbouring land owners, who were apparently unaware of this decision.
