Shutting down at least four illegal liquor outlets was among the successes Honeydew Police had during the weekend.
Police spokesperson, Captain Balan Muthan said police confiscated a large amount of liquor during the shutdown operation. The operation also saw a total of 39 suspects being arrested for various crimes.

Muthan urged residents to be on the safe side of the law as the festive season operations and mall patrol duties are expected to continue until further notice.
