This past weekend (30 November until 2 December) once again saw Roodepoort Police making numerous arrests during stop-and-search operations.
Thirty eight suspects, ranging in age from 18 and 50 years old, were arrested on charges of malicious injury to property, shoplifting, rape, attempted murder and possession of an unlicensed firearm, drunken and reckless driving, possession of drugs and attempted house robbery.
The suspects were detained at Roodepoort Police Station.
