Two accidents in Helderkruin, one car ends up in river
Youngsters allegedly involved in one accident.
Two separate accidents, one serious and one less so, occurred in Helderkruin in the past few hours.
In both cases, detail is still sketchy. In one accident, a vehicle ended up on its roof on Banket Avenue between Crous Drive and Ruhama Drive. It is uncertain how the accident happened but it is alleged that the occupants of the vehicle were young persons. Although serious, the extent of the occupants’ injuries is uncertain.
In the second accident, a vehicle ended up in the river just off Bert Close. It landed on a water pipe after the driver allegedly forgot to pull up the hand brake.
