Cabinet reshuffle looks like this

DA criticised shuffle.

The main opposition of the ANC-run government, the Democratic Alliance (DA), has criticised President Cyril Ramaphosa’s latest Cabinet reshuffle.

In a statement, DA leader Mmusi Maimane called the reshuffle a “new Cabinet, same old ANC”. Maimane also said in a statement that “Ramaphosa has made it clear that he is the President of the ANC before he is the President of the Republic. The people of South Africa will always come last so long as the ANC is in government”.

Here is what the latest big changes look like:

• Minister of Home Affairs: Siyabonga Cwele in the place of Malusi Gigaba

• Minister of Environmental Affairs: Nomvula Mokonyane will replace the late Edna Molewa

• Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams will lead the newly combined departments of Telecommunications and Communications.

• Minister who has left Cabinet: Thembi Majola
