Ward 89 public meeting coming up on Thursday
The meeting will cover various topics, focusing mainly on finances this time around.
Residents of ward 89 are invited by councillor Amelia Bester to attend a public meeting on Thursday, 22 November, in the Phelindaba Council Chamber at the Roodepoort Civic Centre.
The meeting will kick off at 6.30pm with the introduction of ward 89’s new committee members, which will be followed by an address by the MMC for Finance, councillor Funzela Ngobeni. Ngobeni will be addressing anything and everything billing- and budget-related.
Among the topics to be discussed will be what you get for your taxes, and what do you do when your services get disconnected. After the addresses, there will be a question and answer session for those in attendance before announcements and the closing of the meeting.
