Discovery Scouts to host another blood drive
Support this worthy cause and save lives
The 1st Discovery Scouts are appealing to the community to support their blood drive.
The blood drive will be taking place on 16 November from 4pm to 7pm at the 1st Discovery Scout Hall, 15 Bird Street, Discovery. All they ask is a few minutes of the community’s time to donate blood.
Those who will be supporting this initiative are reminded to eat well before they donate.
Your blood donation can save up to three lives, and the South African National Blood Service is reminding the community that it is not just about donating blood; it’s also about a life that is waiting to be lived.
