Provide a safe home for a child in need

'My desire is to see all of our children safe, secure, protected, free, prosperous and successful'

The community is urged to give a helping hand by housing a needy child or by making a donation towards their care. Founder of Hope Prayer Healing, house mother and guardian at Children Haven, Val Moonsamy, is making an appeal for the community to take in needy children.

Val wishes to extend her warmest and most loving gratitude for the positive response to her article, which was published in the Record in August. “Thank you for the phenomenal response. I have now extended my outreach to housing orphans, so please find it in your hearts to feed, donate or take in an orphan,” Val said.

Val also holds fasting and prayer session that help people connect with God and find healing from broken hearts. She started holding prayer sessions in January 2009 after the loss of her son, Mervyn. “My desire is to see all of our children safe, secure, protected, free, prosperous and successful. I strongly believe in the power of prayer,” she said.
