Team Rage bags 14 medals a tournament
The fighters performed very well at the Great North 3 championships
Eight fighters from the Team Rage Kickboxing Club competed at the recent Great North 3 championships, and performed very well.
The tournament, which was held in Pretoria, saw a number of fighters from various clubs compete against each other. They participated in various categories, which included semi-contact, light contact and low kick light.
The fighters had to endure some tough competition, but managed to bag 14 medals – seven gold, five silver and two bronze.

The medal winners are:
• Bianca Botha (two gold)
• Shaun Lombaard (one bronze)
• Charné Botha (one silver)
• Cole Langa (two silver)
• Brandon Lee Friedlander (one silver and one bronze)
• Jaen van Rensburg (two gold)
• Mina Lombaard (one silver and one gold)
• Dyllan Opperman (two gold)
The Club’s coach, Darin Opperman, was very pleased with these results, and said, “Well done to all our fighters on these excellent results! We are extremely proud of all of you, and the hard work, perseverance and determination shown.”
