Free mentorship sessions for local entrepreneurs

Opportunity for local entrepreneurs who are working hard to be successful in employing themselves and others.

A Small, Medium Micro Enterprises (SMME) mentorship session will be held at the Isiqualo Centre on Tuesday, 30 October. The aim is to educate and empower local upcoming entrepreneurs.

According to Assistant Director: Citizen Relationship and Urban Management for Region C, Yolande Janse van Rensburg, the City is offering an opportunity to local entrepreneurs who are working hard to be successful in employing themselves and others, to get a mentorship session free of charge.

“We have invited two successful local entrepreneurs to come and share their journeys from startup to the sustainability of their businesses. These mentorship sessions should have a dual purpose: firstly giving the upcoming entrepreneurs an opportunity to be mentored without paying for a session, and secondly to give well-deserved recognition to local entrepreneurs,” she said.

The session will be from 9am to 12am at Isiqualo Centre, 4th floor, Roodepoort Civic Centre, 100 Christiaan de Wet Road, Florida Park.
