Riverwel RA increases security fees

According to RA committee member, Neville Burnett, this is the first increase in more than eight years.

In a bid to beef up and sustain adequate security levels, the Riverwel Residents Association (RWRA) has decided to increase its subscription fee, which contributes to the security in the area.

This decision was made during the recent RA annual general meeting where it was unanimously voted that the subscription from residents contributing to the dedicated Community Support Services (CSS) patrol would increase by R20 per month.

According to RA committee member, Neville Burnett, this is the first increase in more than eight years.

“This increase is due to RWRA now having its own dedicated or contracted CSS patrol vehicle, as well as continuing with our lighting project,” he said, when asked for the reasons for the increase.
