Two-month blockage of sewer torments residents
The Northsider was told that the sewer has been blocked for almost two months.
Residents of a complex in Parsec Street, Wilgeheuwel have had enough of the disgusting stench coming from a blocked sewer in their vicinity.
One of the unhappy residents, Thys Smith, told Northsider that the sewer has been blocked for almost two months, without a resolution to the crisis.

He said the matter had been reported to the municipality. He provided proof in the form of council-issued reference numbers, which the Northsider then forwarded to the Ward 97 councillor, Leah Knott.
Knott said she would escalate the matter to the relevant department.
