In a press statement, she said, “At about 1pm the domestic worker was at the gate collecting the owner’s five-year-old child from the school transport. When returning to the house and waiting at the door for the gate to close, two unknown males arrived at the gate, saying she must open or else they will shoot her. She opened as one of them had a firearm. When they got into the house they wrapped her head in plastic and took her to the owner’s bedroom, and then ransacked the house.
“They took a TV, jewellery and clothes but did not harm the domestic worker or the child. They fled in a white vehicle.
“We would like to urge the community to be vigilant at all times,” concluded More.
