KSWR U/17 girls reached league final

KSWR fought against 76 schools from different parts of the province

 

The King’s School West Rand (KSWR) U/17 girls’ soccer team came within millimetres of victory in this season’s Janine van Wyk girl’s school league.

The team was on the brink of lifting the trophy, but lost their final match against Sandringham High School in a 2–1 upset in the dying minutes of extra time after tying the game at 1–1.

KSWR fought against 76 schools participating in the league from different parts of the province, including Johannesburg, Ekurhuleni and Pretoria in different age groups.

The staff, coaches and parents involved were thanked by the school for their support.
