Chill Out with the News and Hearts and Crafts
It’s that time of year when you are counting your sleeps until the December holidays and, if you’re lucky, getting ready to go away.

While you’re looking forward to the break there is still so much to do. From buying presents for teachers to wrapping gifts, to getting in the festive mood … the list is endless.
Do not fear, the Krugersdorp News and Hearts and Crafts are near. We are launching a brand-new Readers Day – Chill Out. We will be offering regular readers’ morning from November.
Our launch day, 15 November will be at Usambara, just down the road from Cradelstone Mall. Usambara is the place to be for any festive occasion, from matric dances to special birthdays, from engagements to weddings and even conferences.
We have planned an exciting morning with fun and refreshments, ending in a scrumptious lunch (sponsored by Usamabara) that will leave you invigorated and ready for the final sprint to Christmas. You can drop the kids at school and come and Chill Out for the morning. And you’ll still be on time to pick them up again.
You will learn to make beautiful bows (even if you are all thumbs) and will even get the tools for this to take home. Wrapping presents a problem? Not after the 15th. Need a box in a hurry? Make one. You will do all these things during a fun workshop.
Are you going on holiday and need to finally learn what kind of suitcase to take and how to pack it? Fear not. Matador will be there to show you how.
Need body butter that will be your best yet? You will be shown how to make it, and go home with the recipe to make your own.
Need some gifts? There will be some perfect goods on sale – all in aid of charity. There will be goodie bags with wonderful surprises, lucky draws, and loads of fun. And while you’re enjoying all of this, you will be supporting a West Rand charity as well.
Remember to book your place for the event of the year:
• Date: 15 November
• Time: 8.30am for 9am till after lunch
• Cost: R300 and a wrapped child’s toy (marked boy/ girl and age)
