WATCH: Metro Cop crashes through wall on Corlett Avenue
Foreign national allegedly skipped stop sign.
Well known local motor mechanic, Francois du Toit, was busy cooking on Sunday, 7 October, at about noon, when an Ekhuruleni Metro Police Department (EMPD) vehicle crashed through his property’s perimeter wall.

From what could be gathered from CCTV footage, a vehicle driving in Payne Street towards Corlett Avenue ignored a stop sign, and in the process clipped the tail of the EMPD vehicle that was travelling on Corlett Avenue towards Ontdekkers Road.
