Robber to spend 20 years in jail
Fabito Sithole (33) received a sentence of 20 years in total behind bars after he was arrested for possession of an unlicensed firearm and suspected stolen goods.
The Muldersdrift Police station commander, Lieutenant Colonel Mankontsho Setlhare, applauded his investigating officer, detective Constable Mncedisi Bambiso for working hard on a case which saw an accused being slapped with two decades in prison.

“It is alleged that when his fingerprints were processed, it was discovered that Fabito was wanted for a house robbery which occurred in Driefontein, on 26 September, 2014 during which a 27-year-old victim was hit with a firearm on his forehead and robbed of the valuable belongings in his house, as well as for a housebreaking and theft case which occurred in Rietfontein, on 12 November, 2014, where goods worth R36 800 were stolen from the victim’s house while he was away,” Muldersdrift Police spokesperson Constable Slindile Ntuli explained.
On 26 September 2018, Kagiso Magistrate Court concluded a house robbery case with a sentence of 15 years and a housebreaking and theft case with 5 years in prison.
