Lend Child Welfare a hand for their Christmas Market in November

The team will be holding a Christmas Market as a collection drive for their Christmas Party at the end of November.

The team at Child Welfare South Africa Roodepoort (CWSAR) will be holding a Christmas Market on 3 November as a collection drive for their Christmas Party later on.

CWSAR is an organisation that is always in need of donations and assistance from the community, and support for their annual Christmas Market is definitely of importance right now. The market will be held with the aim of collecting items and raising funds to ensure they will be able to host a fun-filled and successful Christmas Party for their foster children.

They will be hosting the market at the Discovery Recreation Centre, and there are plenty of ways you can make your mark and lend a helping hand to CWSAR. There is space for just over 40 stalls at the market, which only cost R150 each. If you don’t wish to have a stall at the market, then you can simply bring along some second-hand items that you’d like to donate, and hand it over to the CWSAR team.

To you, it might be a dusty and tattered teddy bear, but to a foster child, it could be the first Christmas present they’ve ever received. So, if you’d like to do your bit and attend the market on 3 November, the doors will open at the Discovery Recreation Centre at 9am. Remember, all funds and items will go CWSAR, so whatever money or goods you contribute, you’ll be making a difference.

If you’d like to find out more about the market, or enquire about having a stall there, feel free to contact either Debbie on 072 333 3072, or Estie on 073 360 4003.
