How to use toothpaste as a pregnancy test
If you are pregnant, the colour of the toothpaste should change.
Who would have thought that the toothpaste you use every morning to brush your teeth, could tell you whether you are pregnant or not?
Although this has not been proved or disproved scientifically, here are the steps to follow should you want to try it out.
Step 1: Collect a sample of your first urine in the morning. If you are pregnant, it will contain the highest amounts of the HCG pregnancy hormone (human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG).
Step 2: Drop a few drops of your sample into a separate container with white toothpaste and stir. If the toothpaste takes on a bluish tinge and begins to foam, you might be expecting. If you are not pregnant, the toothpaste’s appearance will not change at all.
Check out the video below to see how the test is done.
