Homeowner refuses to talk about domestic’s murder
The incident happened at an estate close to Ruimsig.
After walking in on the brutal scene of her domestic worker’s murder on 5 September, the employer and homeowner told Northsider on 13 September that the matter has been taken care of.
However, the homeowner refused to share any further information as the matter is under police investigation.
The homeowner, who is known to the Northsider, discovered blood stains on the carpet on the stairs of the main bedroom, where the domestic worker was found in the bathroom having sustained blunt force blows to her upper body.

The incident happened at an estate close to Ruimsig.
This matter was investigated by Muldersdrift Police who obtained footage of a man, a gardener, who admitted to the murder and was subsequently arrested.
Spokesperson for Muldersdrift Police, Constable Slindile Ntuli said, according to the footage, the gardener entered the estate at about 10am and left the premises about an hour later, at 11am.
“When Sergeant Manana saw him on the footage, he recognised him as he had previously arrested him on charges of assault, and knew where he was living.
“Manana and Captain Baloyi went to the suspect’s residence, which they searched. They found the suspect hiding in an abandoned garage.
“He was interviewed and admitted to the murder and took Sergeant Manana and Captain Baloyi to Krugersdorp where he had sold the DVD he had stolen from the scene of the murder. The DVD was recovered and the suspect, aged 31, was arrested,” Slindile explained.
