Taxi crashes into tree leaving eight injured
Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found on the scene.
Eight people were injured this morning (5 September) when the taxi they were travelling in crashed into a tree on Hendrik Potgieter Road in Florida.
ER24 paramedics, along with another service, arrived on the scene at 8.05pm to find the taxi against the tree. The passengers had already climbed out of the vehicle and were found walking around on the scene.
Paramedics assessed the victims and found that eight people had sustained minor to moderate injuries. The victims were treated for their injuries and transported to nearby hospitals for further treatment.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
