Cops appeal for information on murder and house robbery case

The police spokesperson urged anyone with information to contact the station on 011 952 4600 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.

 

A strong appeal is being made by the Muldersdrift Police in their mission to nab two suspects involved in a house robbery and murder case.

On 25 August, at about 7pm, a 30-year-old man died after he was shot in the upper body in front of his wife. The wife was not injured. The shooting occurred during a house robbery incident inside their cottage. The suspects allegedly stole electronic appliances and cash before fleeing the scene.

Spokesperson for the station, Constable Slindile Ntuli, told Northsider that no arrests have been made yet and continued to appeal for public participation. “The matter is still under investigation. We are appealing to the community to assist with any information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects involved in this crime,” she said.
