Witpoortjie car guards receive uniforms

They will now be easily recognisable

Two car guards at the Spar in Witpoortjie received brand new uniform jackets from a security company, in an effort to improve the community’s shopping experience.

“André Schultz from P91 Security helped us with red jackets for two of our car guards, Jonathan Moss and Leon de Beer. This will help the community to identify them more easily, and to know which guards to support,” said Jan van Dalen, the Spar manager.

He added that it was also done in an effort to create a cleaner and safer area around the shop, and said, “We would like to appeal to the community to only support the guards in red, because they are working for themselves.”

He concluded by saying, “If there are any complaints or issues pertaining to the car guards, the community should not hesitate to come see me.”
