One day to the Fun Run Road Race
The race will start at Clearwater Mall and a great turnout is once again expected, therefore traffic in the area will also increase.
Hendrik Potgieter Road close to Clearwater Mall is expected to be jam-packed early tomorrow morning, Saturday, 18 August, as runners take on the annual Clearwater 10km and 5km Fun Run Road Race.
Motorists have been advised to exercise caution when travelling on the route that will be used by runners. This includes Hendrik Potgieter Road, Fredenharry Road and surrounding roads in the proximity of Strubens Valley and Little Falls.
The race will start at Clearwater Mall and a great turnout is once again expected, therefore traffic in the area will also increase. By 9am, all roads will be clear.
The times are as follows:
6am – Registration at Entrance No 1 at Clearwater Mall
7am – Start of the 10km road race
7:15am – Start of the 5km fun run
The organisers apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused during the race.
