#WestWitsMine: don’t miss out on the open day sessions
West Wits has scheduled public open day sessions
The West Wits Mining Project has scheduled a series of public open day sessions to be held next week.
Copies of the Scoping Report have been made available for public review at the Roodepoort Civic Centre, Witpoortjie Library, Bramfisherville Multi-purpose Centre, Moses Kotane Primary School, Sol Plaatjie Hall and the Meadowlands Library. Interested and affected parties have 30 days, until 3 September to review the report and submit comments in writing to Marline Medallie on mmedallie@slrconsulting.com.
With this in mind, West Wits has scheduled a series of open days.

On Tuesday, 21 August, they will be at the AME Church, Meadowlands, on the corner of Ingedzi and Umveve Streets, Meadowlands West, from noon till 8pm.
On Wednesday, 22 August, they will be at the Bramfischerville Multi-purpose Centre from noon till 8pm and on Thursday 23 August, the venue moves to the Roodepoort City Hall, 1 Rex Street, Roodepoort, also from noon till 8pm.
The Moses Kotane Primary School, corner of Unity Boulevard and Freedom Drive, Bramfischerville, is where the next meeting on Friday, 24 August will be held again from noon till 8pm.
The last public open day session will be held on Saturday, 25 August at the Matholesville E-hall from 1:30pm to 5pm.
