Community helps with arrest of car thieves
Police encourage community to be their eyes and ears.
Florida Police arrested two vehicle thieves during the afternoon of Tuesday, 14 August.
According to the police spokesperson, Sergeant Mpho More, the complainant parked his vehicle in front of his place of work at about 12.15pm. A short while later one of his colleagues told him he just saw his white Ford Ranger driving off. The victim called the police.

Meanwhile, residents of Fleurhof caught the suspects in the act of stripping the vehicle and alerted the police.
The two suspects aged 26 and 42 were arrested and will appear in the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court soon.
