ANC MP’s alleged killer in the dock
Victim was shot and killed in front of lover's house.
Christopher Gculeka, 32, the alleged killer of the ANC member of Parliament, Sbusiso Radebe, appeared in the Roodepoort Regional Court today (15 August).
Radebe was killed in front of his lover’s home in Lindhaven on 19 June. It is alleged that Gculeka and two other men confronted Radebe and his lover, who was inside his vehicle. They attempted to rob him and a struggle ensued. His lover ran away, but Radebe was shot several times.

Gculeka, who resides in Bramfischerville, was arrested in Dobsonville on 11 August for being in possession of a suspected stolen television. He was then linked to the murder.
He remains in custody and will appear in court again on 28 August to make application for legal aid.
