Rocci extends deadline for schools fundraising opportunity
The festival is set to rock Roodepoort to its core, and schools now have the chance to benefit from the event.

The Roodepoort Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Rocci) has extended the deadline for schools to join their fundraising project to noon on Friday, 17 August.
The project is linked to Rocci’s ‘Rocci Rocks Festival’, and will grant schools the chance to acquire a unique Ticketpro link through which they can sell tickets. This will ensure that any ticket sales made by the school or its representatives will be efficiently tracked by Ticketpro and make sure they get the reward due for their sales.
The reward will be a 20 per cent share of the cost of the tickets the school sells, and will be paid out to the schools two weeks after the festival. Tickets range in price from R130 to R195, so schools stand a great chance of benefiting from the fundraising.
The festival will include performances from the likes of Prime Circle, Die Heuwels Fantasties, Bok van Blerk, Die Campbells, and many more. The 20 per cent excludes Fun Run ticket sales and parking sales.
Schools need to send all their details and credentials to Rocci’s manager, Isabel Janse van Rensburg, via e-mail to isabeljvr@rocci.org, before 12 noon on Friday, 17 August.
