City Power recently made a public announcement to warn residents of a planned power interruption to take place from Saturday, 11 August at 10pm until about 6am on Sunday, 12 August.
The following areas will be affected:
– Florida
– Florida Ext
– Florida Exts 2, 3, 4, 7 and 9
– Florida Hills Ext 2
– Florida North
– Florida North Ext 7
– Florida View
– Industria North Ext 1
– Maraisburg Extensions 1, 2 and 3
– Paarderand Ext 1
– Robertville Exts 12 and 13
The propose of this power interruption is to allow maintenance to be carried out on City Power’s network, as part of their programme of constantly striving to provide better service.
Residents are urged to treat their electricity supply points as live during these hours as the supply may be restored at any time.
