C4C to host Women’s Day event
The event will be held in conjunction with other service organisations.
Champions for Change (C4C), a Roodepoort-based non-profit organisation will be celebrating Women’s Day on 9 August at Kloofendal Nature Reserve.
The organisation’s mission is to provide emotional support to survivors of trauma and violence in order to grow strong, healthy communities. The event will celebrate mothers, daughters and women in general.
Fun activities and shopping will be the order of the day with delicious food, music, marching bands, arts and crafts, karaoke and a counselling service.
Entry is free and those who wish to book a stall can do so at R100 a table.
